enbay1
Hello all, I'm getting around to fixing all the wiring in my torn-up 720 and know the truck is missing a few grounds that got misplaced over it's abused life. I'm wondering if anyone here has wise ideas about the best places to attach all the grounds instead of a few self-tappers into the body and finding a bolt on the valve cover, head, and block. Most importantly I'm wondering the best place to put the main ground/starter ground. As always, thank you for your patience!-Ben. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The battery negative ground on the 720 is on the intake near the thermostat. Be sure that there is also a connection to the body sheet metal. This is usually a bolt through the negative cable to the battery tray. If the negative cable has been replaced it's likely no longer there. Any 10 gauge wire screwed to the body and to the engine block or head will do. 2 Quote Link to comment
