Well, my wagon made it's 1st really long trip from Atascadero Ca to Eagle Rock for last weekend's meet & she did awesome SO....If all goes as planned, I'm gonna shoot for another, longer trek to attend this event as well. Looks like 4.5 hours to get to Fontana from Atascadero.

Not to jinx anything but...anybody out there in Ratsunland who's going to this event that might be along my route somewhere...if you see me on the side of the road...please help a gal out.

I'll be traveling solo with nothing but my stock A.M radio & single dash speaker to keep me company!

I'll try to bring some of our Central Coast's famous Tri-Tip & Pinquitos

Angela It would be great to meet you and also see your 510 in person.  I know there are people talking about getting rooms at the Hilton which is real close to the park.  I will get more info on the hotel.  I might stay the night Saturday but not sure at this time.

I have hand surgery on the 28th of July.  it is just Carpul Tunnel surgery so should not be a problem.

Yeah, sounds fun. My budget will only allow for the Motel 6 so that's were I'm booked. Since the event starts so early & I'm so far, I planned to come up on Friday. My dad's birthday is on the 8th so I'm just praying they don't decide to celebrate it the following weekend cos I'd have to cancel plans. I'll do my best to convince them away from that.

I've had CTS in both hands (Used to be a hairdresser back in the mid 80's & 90's). Had the surgery twice on right hand. The recovery is pretty quick but ya gotta do all the PT afterward to get the full benefit. Best of luck with the surgery!

I had the surgery on my left hand in the early 90's and it was at that time the new procedure with 2 small incisions, one on the wrist and one in the palm of the hand.  There was no PT.  This one will be a little different in that there is only 1 incision and it will also be small.  I f all goes good there will be no therapy with this one either.

I hope to see you all at the barbecue Angela and friends.

I envy all you guys down south with all your get togethers, swapmeets and willing participants.

Its sometimes hard to get folks together up here on a regular basis.

This is why SWDP only has 1 function a year the barbecue.  This is something that I personally look forward to every year.  There is always new people, cars, trucks, and sometimes even motorcycles.

I'm in Santa Barbara.  We'll see if I can go, and if I bring my 521 (it's hanging out in Arroyo Grande right now and I'm not sure I can get up there to get it before the 12th).

Matt,

I'd love to see your 521. Hopefully you can squeeze the time in to come get it. It would be super cool to caravan...I'm planning to leave on Friday but work might interfere with that so finger's are crossed that it doesn't. Let me know if you think you'll make it & we can figure something out.

I'd have to make it a quick up/down Saturday if at all. Just had a baby Tuesday :P

Congratulations on the new baby!

That takes the priority. If not this year, maybe next. I'd still like to see your 521 though. I want one really bad & am a little obsessed at the moment
