Crashtd420
Not to sound like a wise ass but have you looked them up?... The seem readily avaliable... Even at autozone... They Even cross reference the same as lseries heads too .... Quote Link to comment
Osoi
Quite alright. I have looked them up, my mechanic says he can't find any. So I just thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone had a verified source. Quote Link to comment
Draker
You can literally get them anywhere. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Its a J motor. I don't know if the same as L series Lseries valve seals are sold everywhere or same as J then I learned something new today. you have 2 threads on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Parts search shows the same part number and manufacturer.. mahle.. Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
And that was on a couple different sights.. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
well tell your mechanic WTF I found it in 30 seconds!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
MAHLE ORIGINAL/VICTOR REINZ SS20183 Same as... I guess I may have overlooked the fact they might be referencing an L13.... they say a 1.3 but they do not say it's a j motor.... so banzai might be correct that they are different... sorry... Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Where did you look banzai... I actually think I was wrong where I was looking... rock auto say 1.3 but they don't say if it's the L13 or J13 ... just 1.3... So my thoughts may have been wrong Quote Link to comment
Draker
You can literally get them anywhere. I was assuming L motor. Otherwise yeah, rock auto. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
yeah early 521s are J motors Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
I assume this is a J motor so I didn't see a listing on Rockauto. Im sure Datzenmike knows the forklift motorplace . I had rebuild kits so they might have it. I am not at my regular computer so its not saved here Quote Link to comment

Crashtd420
Glad you posted that for him... I looked at another sight, carpartsmanual.. shows the nissan part number for the valve seal as being different between the j13 and the l16 ... Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Posting this here too... I think rock auto is wrong... looked up the nissan part number and it shows its different between the j13 and a l16 valve stem seal... I think a link was posted on the other post to the correct part... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Two posts on the same thing? I've merged them together. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
'69 is an L521 with J13 engine. Nissan part # 13207-35100 not same number as the L series although some other seal may fit Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Yup that's the part number I found too. Thats why i triple check part numbers. And I know the L13 exists, but doesn't sound like it ever did in a 521, I know they had the j motor in it before the L motor.. personally I've been burned on a couple parts because of things like this.. all I can say is parts stores don't care , so i don't trust what they say without verifying first what I am after... datzenmike
Early Canadian 510s had L13. Probably three in the tree too. Quote Link to comment
