boricua168
hi everyone, i'm new here and i have a question. i have a 1980 210, im trying to do a 5 lug conversion in the front i dont know what hub would work. can anyone give me a hand on this please. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think the later 300zx and 240zx? has five lug hubs but you would have to probably swap the entire strut. There's little to gain from this but 5 lug rims. Then you carry two spares???? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Techno Toy Tuning has 5 lug hubs for 510 and Z car strut assemblies. That's the easy answer. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
There's little to gain from this but 5 lug rims. Then you carry two spares???? Just a guess here, but I'm betting he's already swapped in a 5 lug rear end (my money is on Ford) and wants the front to match. ;) Techno Toy Tuning has 5 lug hubs for 510 and Z car strut assemblies. That's the easy answer. That would be easiest. Cheapest is likely to be swapping to 280ZX struts, then using 85-88 300ZX hubs and rotors. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Techno Toy Tuning has 5 lug hubs for 510 and Z car strut assemblies. Although, from T3's website... Will NOT fit factory 510 strut casings. These will only work for 510's that have been converted to 280ZX strut casings. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
If you do a strut swap, i will trade you a set of 5lug s12 200sx hubs for your 4 lug hubs. Just pm me if you have interest. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Although, from T3's website... Yeah...Don't own either. I was going off of memory. Quote Link to comment
boricua168
it has a ford 8.8 rear end 4 lug that was chapped and they welded the studs on very badly . i,m replacing it with a 7.5 5 lug 5x120. that's why i want to change the front to a 5 lug . Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Oh damn. Guess I'm not interested in trading you. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
You won't find a Datsun hub in 5x120. Might have an easier time trying to locate a 200sx rear end for an easy upgrade/swap. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Fixed. B) Might have an easier time trying to just buy some new axles for the Ford diff. 1 Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
Does he mean 5x114.3? 5x120 is a BMW thing Quote Link to comment
boricua168
Im putting a 7.5 rear end from a blazer and thats a 5x120 pattern Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Im putting a 7.5 rear end from a blazer and thats a 5x120 pattern To echo what flatcat said, you'd be a hell of a lot better off if you can find a rear end from an 82-83 200SX, preferably from a 2.2L car. That would be an H190 (bulletproof) and it bolts right in. Even the rear end from an 80-83 2.0L car (H165) is fairly stout and also a bolt in. Nice side benefit to the 200SX rear end is that it already has disc brakes, and a stock sway bar comes with it. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Is there a benefit to modding all these axles to fit your 210 that I'm not understanding? You're not getting better brakes with any of them...Just doing work. 200sx axle/diff or new axle shafts for current Ford housing seems the easiest route to travel. Quote Link to comment
boricua168
im looking to change the front hub from 4 lug to 5 lug Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Again, what's the advantage? Repeating myself, you will not find a 5 lug hub to fit the front in 5x120 pattern. What happened to the original diff/axle of the 210? Another bolt in option: axle/diff from an A10/510. Quote Link to comment
boricua168
the PO changed the rear end. here in Florida its hard to find 510 Quote Link to comment
