Looks good but are those surface scratches on the tops?  Can the outlines be a little thicker?  How many does he need to make it worth doing a red hazard?   Has there been any mention of price yet?

There not scratches that the aluminum machine marks. It seems like no one is happy just complaints. Unless some one else can make them I hope yours are in good shape. I think this was a bad idea. To much time and to many critics.

Tanker, just make the product and offer it for sale.

All these people want something different.. they can make it themselves. The knobs look great as is.. Want a red knob, ship a blank and let them finish it out. Don't like it, don't buy it.

Considering it was my idea in the first place, I figured I was due a little say, and generally I'd say do it right or don't do it at all. I was hoping for an original shape/engraving and when the train jumped the tracks I kind of fell off. They look good as an alternative, but not quite what I had in mind. No need to repeat why, I know why. The melodrama doesn't help, though, just makes me want to say eff it.

Your Right your the reason why he was going to stop making them in the first place.

I don't think he should call it quits just because of ONE person's opinion. Many of us can really use these and are willing to pay a reasonable amount for them. You should never let one rotten apple ruin the bunch.

I approached (as far as one can approach someone online) Datrod with the idea.  I was basically ignored, but MrBT I guess knows him in person and was able to get the ball rolling.  I was willing to pay more than his initial estimate.  I was willing to pay more to get them like stock.  *crickets*  Obviously he can do whatever he wants, and maybe I'll have to get them machined by someone else down the line.  I'm not going to buy them just because he makes them, if they're not close enough to stock look & feel.  I just thought he might be interested since he makes other Datsun parts (small batches, one-offs no less, it seems).  I never complained about time/schedule or cost.  Not sure what else I could have said, but I'm the bad apple.

Sorry guys. I get a little butt hurt  when the quality of my work is questioned. I said from the start I would NOT make them like the OEM. Just get them as close as I could. And I did as I said I would do.

I don't do this to get rich. I just did it for the Datsun community. Just trying to help a brother out. You can go on my facebook page and view the video. Or my IG acct williams_machine_inc

they will run $15.00 each plus shipping.

Yeah man why are your feelings hurt? When did anyone say you did bad work or they looked bad? I think they look great but that doesn't mean I am not going to share my opinion. And it doesn't help when someone like bigtanker just ends up being your middle man.

Don't be the kid who takes the ball, goes home and ruins it for everyone. How can I buy a set?
