datzenmike Posted March 24, 2017 Report Share Posted March 24, 2017 I assume they are re-pops made in Thailand or Taiwan. Probably from the old stamping molds but thinner or poorer grade metal so it doesn't stretch properly and the fit isn't always perfect. Quote Link to comment

Left side wasn't too bad, but the left took cutting spot welds, moving, stretching, elongating holes, Tig welding back together to get it on. But all in all, it was easier than trying to save the mangled originals :) Quote Link to comment

Cheetosrdabest Posted April 25, 2017 Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 Just a note, looks like c2cfabrication.com is still carrying some parts for the 720's and others. I got two new fenders, bumper, valence, and front turn signals from them a few years ago for my '84 720 restore and they fit really good. They came painted with some really smooth black paint on them that you really have to rough up to get the primer to stick to. I think they are up in Michigan, but they were out of stock on a couple of the items. They followed up very well and had them to me in about 4 weeks 3 Quote Link to comment
