New member with a question, just got a 78 620 longbed.

I just picked up my first datsun infact the first vehichle ive ever bought with my own money today, its a 78 620 longbed. And well ive been hooked on drifting for afew years now and i want to make it a career. So the guy i got the truck from told me to come here. Im wondering what its going to take or if its even possible to bring 150 horse power to the wheels on the l20b engine, and if it is what id need to do to get there and the price. If anyone could help or refer me to a link/stickie it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Ratsun Viridian. Easiest way to 150 ish HP is to swap a D21 Hardbody KA engine into your truck. Not saying you can't get it from an L20B but it won't be cheap. The KA swap is very well documented.

Bolt sidedrats carbs on there on there and weld the diff and your can drift

Im not really worried about the cost ill save pennys every paycheck and ive got all the time in the world. Id like to keep the stock engine in it if possible. But thank you for the kind replies this community seems to be alot better than the rx7club one lol.
