Deeg
This thread http://community.ratsun.net/topic/39688-521-stock-mirrors/was informative regarding the dealer added side mirrors for the 521, but because those mirrors are seldom available, and most of the suitable replacements (Thai or otherwise) bolt-on through the door skin from underneath, I'm wondering if any of you have solved the riddle of how to actually mount mirrors on the door, near the vent window. The original/dealer-added mirrors obviously screw-in to the door skin sheet-metal from the top.. However, that part of the inside of the door is unreachable via the access holes. Any stories or suggestions appreciated Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They don't have to be 'nut 'n bolt' fasteners. Sheet metal screws will work as well. Stainless is good. Quote Link to comment

Deeg
Indeed (@ datzenmike), if I had those mirrors, sheet metal screws would do, but as I said, many/most of the mirrors available (including the ones I've got) don't have holes in them to screw through from the top; they are made to be bolted from underneath .. Before I modify or give up, I thought I'd see if someone else has figured this out already. (Like these: http://r.ebay.com/pRA9YV or https://goo.gl/2uCfl3 (#52163 and 52165) or ... yeah... I'm open to other suggestions) Quote Link to comment
