Plusnone
Nice! That stance is perfect. What size tires are you running? And are you tucking the top of the front tire with the adjustment from the camber plates alone... i.e. 510 strut not 280zx with the narrower track, no adjustable LCA, are the fenders rolled etc... Oics please!!! I've got the same wheels on my 4 door and yours is sitting perfect so I need to know! Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
Slowly making progress, and as always more work then we had hoped to do. Chipping shit and ........ FUCK However that was the worse trunk pan time Please remove all paint on both areas before welding panel in. Nope not this one, nightmare, you know who you are. I had to burn the factory paint off between the replacement tub and og trunk floor, so i could weld it together. Trying a new angle grinder pad, works great. Well worth the $6 Post man ASS 1 Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
I was gonna get one of those pads for my grinder......Now for sure I will! Dime is looking great, James! Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
I used one of those for the first time just the other day. Best mechanical paint stripper I've ever used. Between those and flap wheels, I'm amazed at the amount of finesse that can be squeezed out of a grinder. 2 Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
those wheels strip like no other with minimal metal loss or damage 1 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Mo Datsun grind Doner pan Not big enough but will do Seam sealer Zero rust 2 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Right side needed help also Doner pan pt 2 A little bit less work then the left side Old pan after taking a hammer to it, rust was keeping it solid Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Last pan This one we sand blasted first Use the cut out, of the rust pan to cut the donor pan The welds in the field of the pan are because of hole from the frame rail on the donor pan. Wagons have a frame rail from end to end. 2 door and 4 doors do not. The donor pan was from a wagon I cut up many years ago. Now on to the fender More sanding 1 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Floors and trunk done 2 coats of Zero rust Did some rust removal, we conditioned the roof twice with metal etch and 80 grit used sand paper, to dig the rust out of the pours. 4 Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
This was a quickie that still took a lot of work, looks good. However after finishing a 9.5+ out of 10, its always hard to go back. It's always fun watching them go from something nobody wants to something someone does want. Sanding and more fucking sanding kids No pics of the masking and sealer process, but you get the idea Had to hang the rear left door, needed the jamb to match Swede finish this is as shiny as she will be. Trying for Datsloco 27th May 5 Quote Link to comment
