Xnke
I have 1 merchart rod here-but I have no idea what it's for. Rod journal bore is too small to be L-series, but the rest of it looks spot on for an L20B rod... The 6" blanks, are they just 6" chevy rod forgings that haven't been machined yet? G-Duax
Mecharts are cast stainless, not forged. Don't know what these were intended for, I bought them from the guy who ran Mechart, and was looking for something to use in my Toyota 7M. He sent machining instructions with them. But I bought an engine with new Crower rods, and kept them for my 7M, and sold off the rest of it. So the Mechart project just got shelved. Quote Link to comment
Xnke
Hmmmm. What would you have to have for them, and how many of them do you have... Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
I have 6. How about $200 for them + 15 for shipping. I think I paid like $50 per rod. Quote Link to comment

hang_510
Ever seen a rod come through the side of the block?I was driving and still didn't see, it was loud, and it was a huge mess when I opened the hood. I don't remember spending that much for prepping the rods??? I would of preferred a new set. Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
I've seen L16 chunks bouncing down the road in my rear view mirror.... Quote Link to comment
