Try the meguiars glaze - the old paint will like it better than the harsh abrasives.  Just be sure to wax after.

I appreciate the input, but this stuff was recommended by a professional body guy I have been friends with for 15 years. He suggested this stuff along with 3M pads on a drill, then follow with a coat of carnauba wax.

I agree, that's the same stuff I used when I was working on old E-Type Jags, stuff works wonders.

whats size tires are those? Something dont look right . they looke a little ballooned. Like 205s 60s or soemthing.

 

I got 195/45/15s and fit inside the wheelwell with stock strut.

If your going to a ZX strut then it will get pulled in. But +25 mm will hit on a ZX strut cause of the HUB

205/50/15 Nittos on zero offset Konig 15x7.

 

280zx struts are already installed.

Smoked like a freight train for a couple miles. Then cleared up after hammering on it for a few more miles. Probably 12 years of shit burning off inside the cylinders.
