Trashy Posted March 6, 2017 Report Share Posted March 6, 2017 Well I've owned multiple Datsuns but nothing I would consider a true Ratsun until now, literally saved it from a junkyard where it's been for the last 14 years, plans are to leave patina and rust just do a few patches where needed, blast frame and suspension, do any repairs that may be needed, get it running, drop on some cool wheels and use as a run around beater to keep the miles off my other cars and trucks. I know it's rough but I have tackled MUCH MUCH worse lol. 3 Quote Link to comment

Find a 620 roller parts truck and convert everything over to metric brakes, easier to find parts. Or better yet frame swap with a 720 standard cab to get the disc brakes. I'll probably leave rear drums on it for the time being simply do to my budget lol. My R32 goes into paint tomorrow so that's some cash so gotta watch my spending for a month or two then I'd like to just go Wilwoods all the way around. It has an L16 in it now, supposedly should run, so working on getting it running tonight, I plan on leaving the L16, it's just gonna be a low put around truck. Quote Link to comment
