edekalil
I know I have asked about these wheels befor, they do fit on the rear on a stock 510 with a spacer I got from Foto Fab can't remember the spacing or thickness. I know you have to use a thicker spacer and longer studs to run them on the front with 280zx struts. What I need to know is if using a shortend stock strut on a 510 how thick of a spacer do you need and do you still need the longer studs? Any info would help. Quote Link to comment

edekalil
I'm thinking of using them on the Goon. Because I have had them with new tires for a while sitting inside the whole time not in the sun and figured why not befor they go bad. Trying to save a few dollars to get new tires on the 70 sedan. Ranman72
I have ran these before and used a 10mm spacer with zx struts if i remember correctly on the rear i didnt need a spacer but i had to use sticky weights on the inside lip or it would hit the a arm it was that close if you are running a coil over set up your spacer might have to be bigger because of the weld on perch this was all with 195 50 15 tires 1 Quote Link to comment

I have some 280zx struts but plan to use them on a sedan I have. Gonna try to use on some shortened stock struts. Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
on stock struts not shortened i had about 1 to 2 mm of space and in cornering they would rub so slightly that there was no tire wear but a shiny spot on the strut Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Thank you again, I do have some 3/8 in spacers that worked on back good I'll look today how the front looks on a stock strut as is. I'm not sure if the spring purchase will be a problem but I'll find out. I really need to save some money and use these since the tires are good and I have to get a set for a couple of the other cars. That's what I get for buying stuff before I'm ready to use it. edekalil
Well here are the wheels on the car now. Seems to clear everything. It would probably work with shortened struts and coilovers not the stock style shorter springs and perch. Boy I realy need to do some frontend work on this car. 1 Quote Link to comment
