New 620 owner question

Hello I just picked up a 620 king cab and it comes with the sliding rear windshield. Is it possible to replace this sliding rear windshield with just a single piece of glass. Im not a big fan of the slide able windshield. if yes how so? Thank you

You would need to get one from another 620 King Cab. I think you may need to get the rubber gasket around it also. Has to be from a KC the regular cab rear window is much smaller.

Imma give a piece of advice: many will seek a sliding rear window.

It's flat glass, you could have the piece cut if you wanted. But yes, sliders are more sought after.

All auto glass is tempered except the front windshield which is laminated, and you can't cut tempered glass, it has to be tempered after it's cut. This is way too expensive and better to just buy one ready to go. Do NOT use ordinary window glass because it breaks into huge dagger like pieces. Tempered glass shatters into 1/4" squares or smaller.
