Ratwagon1600
In this case it's incompetence more than corruption being covered over (though realistically everyone from state actors to the public know about this now) Again, 100% correct although there is a very high degree of non compliance with established policies and procedures. There are very few Australian Government agencies that truly comply with Government policies and procedures when it relates to security related matters; the rest pay a kind of lip service. 1 Quote Link to comment

VFR800
Turnbull wants company tax rates to be lowered and Trump wants more stringent immigration policy. Both have accomplished one but not the other thus far so envy would be apt. Quote Link to comment

Dolomite
Man, that XA is seriously a dream family car. Quite possibly the coolest 4 door body ever. Murica never got really good looking four door muscle cars. 4 doors absolutely ruined the look of Nova, Impala, Fairlane, etc. Come to think of it, the closest to good would probably be our mid-later 60s Falcon. 1 Quote Link to comment
VFR800
Yeah,AUS has some really good models that came out from Holden,Ford and Chrysler. Quote Link to comment
Dolomite
It’s a pissoff that the best cars made by Ford and GM never made it stateside, at least we got the three Holden cars for like 5 minutes. I know the new camero is based on a holden, but it’s as far off as most movies based on a true story. Ford should’ve brought over the inline six turbocharged Falcon, it could’ve taken the spot the fusion got. Oh well, wish in one hand and shit in the other. 3 Quote Link to comment

125 CSL
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-43296488 Australia and East Timor sign historic maritime border deal The deal ends a decade-long dispute between the neighbours over rights to the sea's rich oil and gas reserves. East Timor, one of the world's poorest nations, will now gain the majority of any future revenue. The new deal means East Timor will receive at least 70% of the largest oil field, Greater Sunrise, which is worth an estimated $40bn (£28bn; A$51bn). Previously, revenue was to be split evenly between the countries. That is a lot of money.to give up in an era of tight budgets. 1 Quote Link to comment
VFR800
Australia did not act honestly in their dealings with East Timor and this will remove the pineapple from East Timor's arse. Quote Link to comment
