'Special Person's Day'; Campaign to change Father's day

Some times I wonder if these people do this to get noticed. Instantly half of the population are going to go what and respond.

^^^^. Agreed. The number of these idiots who have a brain fart and get the media to regurtitate their stupidity is staggering; and of course I respond.

This one looks like she left her vibrating butt plug in.

Down here a "special person" generally means a retard, so fathers day now becomes retard day?

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-06/man-caught-driving-car-with-no-front-seats-in-toowoomba/8877230

A man has been caught driving a car with no front seat, propped up instead by a rolled-up mattress, Queensland Police have alleged.

The 30-year-old was pulled over by police in Toowoomba, with officers soon realising he and his female passenger were sitting on foam mattresses.

He then admitted to having recently been disqualified from driving.

The car was impounded and the alleged offender, a local man, was charged with the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving of a vehicle without a licence.

He is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on October 16.

  • 2 weeks later...
Mum had a serious crash on friday afternoon in Toowoomba, only found out a few hrs ago from her.

My Mother, sister and other sister, husband and my nephew all went to Toowoomba (which is 2 hrs one way from here) for a flower festival.

My Brother In Law's mother and family live there

On friday afternoon after checking in to their hotel and having a rest my Mother and sister drove to look @ a Japanese garden and on way back from it sun was in Mum's eyes and she missed a yield sign and my sister just told her and then a 4WD took out the front of the car in a right hand side collision.

Only sore and bruised without any other serious injuries.

Mum and Sister I think more rattled and shocked.

Saw them today and I think they will need a few days at least of rest and both will be getting follow up checks done (thankfully).

Thanks Man,did not want to do a FML post.

My sister had told Mum about the give way sign cause she realised Mum had not realised and Mum said she braked immediately and I suspect that is why only that front bit past the wheel arch.

Had she gone on without braking the 4WD would've hit them more likely direct on at drivers or rear drivers side door, much worse potential outcome there of course.

So am feeling very grateful.
