la_leo Posted January 21, 2017 Report Share Posted January 21, 2017 My 85 720 had tilt steering. However the little bar you move to adjust the tilt doesn't hold the column in place. Even with the bar in the locked position, you can still move the column. Is there any adjustment here or way to jamb it into place? Maybe even a spot weld ? Quote Link to comment
wayno Posted January 22, 2017 Report Share Posted January 22, 2017 As I recall there is, but it is not easy to get to. It has been a very long time since I messed with a tilt column, but one of the bolts down there on the column is a reversed thread bolt. Quote Link to comment
