Redrumls
My blinkers & gauges on my goon stopped working..? I've checked the fuses, all good.. I went for a drive in the evening, turned on my lights & noticed my gas & temp gauge stopped working. My blinkers didn't work either. Any suggestions what to check or what might of happened. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
If you operate the hazard switch do the blinkers work? Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
They do. Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
I mean, the hazards come on if that's what you mean. Greg Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Swap hazard flasher with regular one. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Gas and temp gauge could be a bad regulator on back of cluster. Same regulator controls both gauges. Disconnect temp sending wire and ground out with ignition on. Gauge should read full hot. Rule out everything from gauge to sender. Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
Thanks flatcat, I'll that. Greg Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
reach hand back of cluster and reseat the connector. reseat the fuses on fuse box(hail Mary on this one) 2 Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
I have the can am box in it, it has a ka24de swap. The can am box has relays, idk what they are all for..? I have to get a diagram for it. Thanks, Greg Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Have they ever worked with your KA? You probably should have started with that info. Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
Yea they did... Greg Quote Link to comment
q-tip
So the can am box relays are all for the swap, they are ECU ,fuel pump ext. Try hainz's first (that's the easiest) then try what flat said by grounding the temp sender wire. Quote Link to comment
Redrumls
Sounds like a plan, thanks. I'm going to try those things out as soon as I get a chance. Thanks, Greg Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
If they worked after your swap keep your mind off the Can-Am box. It will just make you over think it. 1 Quote Link to comment
