So, close to two months without an update, I know everyone here can't wait to find out what's happened....

Well, to tell you the truth, nothing has happened. I've been hunting parts for everyone else and dealing with crap shipping.. Yay Japan, right?

I did get another set of quad Mikuni, no issues getting them home this time, other then that, It's a few more weeks until SHTF.

Shits gonna hit the fan sooner than you think if you don't do some work.

I've been so anxious to see something happen to this car.

Fly your happy ass over to my house and get to work then, I'm still out of the States.

Anyway, short of the intake that I'll have to make and maybe engine and trans mounts, everything is just waiting to be put together at this point.

  • 2 weeks later...

expect pictures within the day.

So I cleaned it up... ish... got some rust to deal with but nothing bad. for some reason a damn chicken was thinking it's the best place to drop eggs... oh yeah, and sort of did a thing. Going to take those ugly ass bumpers off today if I can. Should I keep the datto wheel or use my old momo or hunt down a sunny wheel... oh the options.

Good to see it's getting attention.

Just had to get back to the States, should have some more pictures up tomorrow.

I know the guy who posted right above me would kill for it...   ^_^

I have a super clean MOMO that I would gladly trade for a certain grill...

Both can be arranged, FYI this is the grill I have.

Like freak said...I'd like to have the wheel as it was part of the original deal/dibs.

I do not think it will fit a 521 though, so...

But, yeah...I'd love to have it. You should totally be rocking an old momo or Nardi in this thing. It deserves it.

I prefer the honeycomb grill, but I'd rock that one too.   ^_^

I'll bring it when I come to pick up the paperwork and engine, next weekend sound good?

In that case...Momo it will be. Do it. Lol.

I do like a good MOMO, PM me and we can work something out on the Datto wheel,

I can do the 19th (this Friday) or the 27th (Saturday in two weeks), but not the 20th (this Saturday).

We are usually at the shop every Saturday, but it's my son's 18th birthday this weekend, so we have a lot of stuff planned for that.

I can wait, enjoy the weekend with your son, I'll make it there on the 27th.

Like strippers?

Don't really feel like being chopped into tiny pieces by my wife.

Now I'm wondering if the early lower valence will fit a later car...    B)

It should... or it better because I need to swap it out to bolt up the front air dam. Either way, I'll find out today or tomorrow based on the amount of rusty bolts I may or may not have to deal with.
