rinigado
I was just about to swap my clutch master and slave cylinders and see that the existing nut connecting the clutch hard line to the master cylinder is pretty chewed up. Is the clutch hard line here same spec as brake lines (3/16" line, m10x1.0 fittings)? I'll have to see if the LAPS has a length of line that's suitable. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Get the proper size brake flare nut wrench for this. Quote Link to comment
rinigado
Yep. That's what went wrong with the existing nut...looks like a combination of wrong wrench and vise grip teeth screwed it up. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
Yes, the tubing size and flare nut size are the same as the brakes. Quote Link to comment
rinigado
thanks shacks510. In case anyone else ever wonders the length on a 240z, I measured the line at just under 51" after pulling it off the car. Now for a quick run to O'Reilly for a 51" brake line. Glad it's a stocked length! Quote Link to comment
