Weird. Your link comes up different, but if you put .jpg at the end and surround it with img html brackets, it works fine:

Now if we can get him to take better pictures.  And I use flickr, no problems there.

Ya we went through this about 9 months ago. Didn't work then, doesn't work for me know ... there is a reason I don't work with computers....

And what's wrong with my pic quality?

Out of focus, bad lighting and way too big. Try to get some light in your garage, hold your hand steady and when you upload the pictures resize them prior to doing so.

Never had a complaint about being too big..

And my lighting has always sucked... my setup is not ideal but I make it work....

Oh well....

And then last night it snowed.... gotta luv the weather up here....

So that delays the start of paint... just to cold... ( I'm blaming the weather)

I barely got the metal work done last night....

So now the plan is degrease parts tomorrow after work....

Metal prep the parts Wednesday,

And start painting Thursday morning....

I took Thurs and Fri off work to get this done so hopefully it goes as planned....

Staged and waiting....

Looking good my man. Warm weather is coming...how long till you think you are done?

Once the paint is done on these parts.... maybe another week or so.....

I am hoping to be driving It around town by the end of the month...

I should have everything done except putting the windows back in the doors, they are ready to go but i don't need those to get it inspected, so they can wait.... there will be some interior work that will need to be finshed too, but again it can wait till after inspection ...

Trying not to, but damn I am sick of working on it, all I want is to be driving it again.

It's now been a little over 12 year since it was my daily and I had to park it. I've spent the last 4 and a half years doing the restoration....

I would rather be driving, maintaining and upgrading instead of just working on it...

The quick joy rides help ease the pain but it's not enough..

I have heat in the garage so as long as the outside temp is around 60 or so I can get the garage warm enough to make it work...

I would like to paint parts of my 521 also, here in western Oregon. I get teased with an occasional warm day, and then several more day too cold or rainy.

Well right or wrong my process is a little different, i know your using a correct primer and paint method.

I have been coating everything in por 15 from the beginning.... I just heat the garage up before I start..

It likes 70, but has an application range of 50 to 80 degrees... takes a little longer to dry so I do one coat in the am and one later in the afternoon....

I used their top coat to do the frame but once I realized it had more of a semi gloss finish than the flat black I wanted I switched to the brand Urekem paint.... they had a flat black single stage urethane top coat that was UV tolerant. It has a medium activator which likes 70 to 90 degree....

So while not ideal outside weather I should be able to keep the garage at a temp the paint wants.
