Whats the writing on the choke heater say. Should have Z24 on there somewhere.

 

 

 

Some digging it seems that the BCDD was not used on the mixture feedback carb after '84. So that block off plate is factory.

Took cover off, loosened and tightened each bolt one at a time, back to front. I don't think that was a problem, but like Mike said, had to be done and costs nothing. So far it's running good, I noticed an improvement after messing with the mixture a bit.
