75 620. You already have an L20B without all the emissions BS added.

Get it running and enjoy it.

When you get a real feel for it it's like to own/drive a Datsun then you can start thinking about swaps.

You may find that you really like the L motors and stick with it.

Easiest? for a '75 would be a '75 to '77 engine they are identical. If a car engine use the truck oil pan. Next would be the '78-'80 L20B from a car or truck. There are more differences but you could uses the manifolds from your engine. L16/18 would be a step backwards less power and more work fitting it.

Did you really mean larger more powerful? Well then it wouldn't be easy would it?

Ka24 swap is simplified by buying motor swap mount kit from Redeye. You will see a thread about them in the classifieds discussion section.

Engine wiring is simplified by using a can/Am box from Icehouse. There is a thread called "how to wire an sr, ka, vg into anything" that talks all about it.

Redeye is working on an SR swap kit now.

Yello620 did a vg swap without insane amounts of fabrication.

Do you know anyone with a Dodge 318 engine and trans laying around you could get for free??  That seemed to be a really good option a couple years ago.

You'll have to teach him how to stand around bare foot and talk the 318 owner to death
