datzenmike
Glad to have you aboard Mariese, welcome to Ratsun. (your English and grammar is impressive) What year is your B-310? I know what an A15 is, but what did egi mean? The 910 was called a Maxima over here and it had similar struts and brakes toe the 280zx. Again I'm not familiar with 'stock rear ARB' what's ARB mean? Sorry, different countries got different things or named them differently. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Electronic Gas Injection? If so.. you could sell that setup for a bunch of money.. I'm sure. Quote Link to comment
wayno
Welcome :) G and F are next to each other on the keyboard, I suspect EFI. And yes the EFI setup would be worth some money, shipping would probably be spendy also. 1 Quote Link to comment

Cosmonaut
If you wish to make said money on the EI parts PM me, I will line your pockets with dough. Besides this, welcome. Quote Link to comment
Cosmonaut
EGI is correct "Electronic gasoline injection" For reference http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=EGI Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I thought of gas but also asked for the year. Our B-310s were all carburetor and the next gen SENTRA ? had no EFI til '87??? How would Malaysia get it 5 years earlier? Cool as shit though. Quote Link to comment
racerx
asian countries got shit that we in the us never got, i.e. 18 rg motors for toyota celica in the 70s and i m certain that there are many variations of the 510 in asia, i.e. sss, we never got. Quote Link to comment
a15egi
Thanks for the welcome. yes, it's Electronic Gasoline Injection. It's very rare worldwide ( according to a friend from japan). My B310 is 1981 local Spec. But i found one EGI model for sale back in 2013. It was a showroom car of two units imported by Malaysian nissan/datsun dealer that time. I found the car in poor chassis/body condition and bought it for the engine. But sold the complete injection kit to Australian (datsun 1200 forum member) due to unavailability of spare-parts and expert mechanic here. The block+internal part and some strange parts from EGI B310 adopted to my local spec B310. it has different cam profile. The EGI came with thicker front ARB - anti roll bar (anti sway bar) and a rear ARB which is rare as well. 3.7 rear diff ratio. Front strut from 510 to allow 13" wheel as standard (malaysian spec with 12" wheel). And a 5 speed dogleg. It was running smooth and powerful even with faulty engine management. I need to learn how to attach photos... thanks. Quote Link to comment

Rhino13
[/url]">http:// Is that the stock front bumper? It looks so much better than the foot thick ones we have in the states. Bory suggested trying to find a bumper for mine like that, that one you have is pretty much exactly what I envisioned. Quote Link to comment
racerx
nice...i specially like the rims Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Actually I like the rims also. Usually not a fan of after market stuff but sort of like period slots. Nice EGI and anti roll bars... should have known. Often called sway bars. A rose by any other name, right? Quote Link to comment

racerx
Man that bumper fits right in. Here in the USA it looks awful and the bumperettes even make them look worse, safety issue. Quote Link to comment
