Draker
Probably going to have to make your own. 1 Quote Link to comment
the red knight
I'm having the same problem with my truck, and have been doing research on it. One forum online said a good source for replacement steel is to get an old beat up truck hood. Since I have to replace my old hood anyways due to dents in it, I'm just going to recycle that one and rivet/weld it in. If you want to keep going with the floor pans on the 720, the part number is 74312-01W00 in case you need it. You're talking $550+ at nissanpartsdeal.com and $720+ at jp-carparts.com because the parts are discontinued. I don't even know how much shipping would be for that. You're probably better off going with getting some sheet metal (I've also read that industrial metal shelving is good for floorpans) and thinking of it as an opportunity to pick up welding as a new skill if you don't know how already. Hope that helps and let me know what progress you make. I'll be doing the same job pretty soon unless it gets cold quick this fall. ~TRK 1 Quote Link to comment
85Nissan7204x4
Yea I pulled all the carpet up and started grinding out the rust. I have rust on both front body mounts pretty bad. I know how to weld I may just patch the few spots I have and maybe slip a piece under the floor over the body mount weld it in and just leave the carpet out and rhino line the floor to seal it up. Yea the floor pan was 707 shipped to me so I'd rather try and do it myself. It's the body mounts where it bolts up to the floor I'm worried about. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
No rhino line... first use zero rust or por15. Then seal with whatever else.. if you'd like. Carpet works too, but only after zero rust/POR15. 1 Quote Link to comment

Stoffregen Motorsports
I work on a lot of vehicles that have been rhino lined and I will say, I am not a big fan. It seems most people don't know how to apply the liner properly. Water trapped under the thick material will do more damage than anything. If you must use the liner, find someone who can put it on hot (there's a different machine for that) and make sure the surface is prepped. Quote Link to comment
