Mike if you like balsamic you have to try this!

 

Quicky Balsamic Demi Glace

 

3 cans Cambells Beef Consume 

2 carrots 

4 celery sticks

1 yellow onion

3 fresh sprigs of thyme, sage, and rosemary

1 cup balsamic

 

Corse cut veggies and put everything in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain liquid through a fine strainer into a large bowl to remove veggies and herbs. Put the liquid back in the pan and boil reduce it to make a syrup that will coat the back of a spoon.  Put that on your stake and potatoes oh my brother. Also try grits with this stuff and sautéed mushrooms. Or cardboard for that matter.
