Ebitzle72
So I'm a newb to the Datsun world but always liked the 620. I came across a good deal on a nice running 620 and bit the bullet. I've been looking around a little on swapping parts out and I know first I wanna do is brake swap then motor. I know it's gonna take patience and money, but I'm just looking for some help finding what will help me accomplish what I'm looking at doing. I want to go 5 lug so I can put some Z wheels on and possibly switch my rear suspension in the future for better handling. Also going to be looking at doing a vq swap in the future if any help can be given to me on my research to get that swap in. Here's my pick up Came across a good deal and got me some stock Titan 18's 2 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Mklotz (a member here) I believe can help you getting Toyota 5 lug hubs to fit your spindles up front. I'm not sure if you can redrill the rear axle to 5x114, so the other option would be to swap in a Toyota axle. Have you considered running spacer/adapters instead of converting? 2 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
There are conversion kits for 620s to go disk. You can try contacting him on his website, bluehandsinc.com (I think)(if that's wrong, Google blue hands Inc., he's the only one.) 1 Quote Link to comment
Ebitzle72
There are conversion kits for 620s to go disk. Yea saw those, but I like 5 lug since there is more wheel choices and I can go with 370 or 350 wheels. Even some old school wheel choices in 5 lug is easy to come across 1 Quote Link to comment
Jester
Take a look at the stock 2wd toyota front end parts. You want to unbolt the upper and lower control arms. Take the spindle and brakes too. They WILL bolt on to the stock BALL JOINT (78-79) trucks. It has been done. Search it out. Nice color. 2 Quote Link to comment

mcordero8
Wow, those floors are cherry. You are very lucky to have a truck in that condition. Take care of her. Quote Link to comment
Jester
No kidding. Those floor are gorgeous! Before you put your floor plugs back in, fold them in half a few times and all the road grime/under coating will flake away with little help. I just did the same thing with mine.
