Well your profile isn't filled out, so you could be in Patagonia, in which case NAPA can't help Ya. Give us a hand here, you know what, where, and why but we don't. With so little to go on I will say that any year ('78-'82) 210 in a wrecking yard, will have what you need.

I assume the gauge is not reading?

1/ Usually if the temperature gauge is also not working then it's the shared voltage regulator on the gauge cluster that's not working. Or the fuse is blown that supplies power to the gauge voltage regulator.

If the Temperature gauge is working then not the regulator. See 2/ below

2/ Can you get to the two terminals on the tank sender? Are they secure and not corroded off? One is Black, the other probably Yellow/White stripe. Make a jumper wire and ground the Yellow wire with the key on. Your fuel gauge should read FULL.

No, still no reading. Then there is something wrong  with the Yellow wire back to the gauge, or the gauge itself.

Yes in reads FULL with the jumper wire on it. See below....

Ground the Black wire.

No reading. Sender unit in tank is likely bad

Yes it now reads normally.... the Black ground wire is not grounded to the body. Make a new ground wire or find the bad connection. It may simply have corroded off.
