510 heater hoses

Does the 510 heater use 13 MM heater core connection, and the 14 MM connection to the engine?

Does the 510 use a short "S" hose for one heater hose, and the long one to reach the front of the engine?

 

Photos of the 510 heater hoses would be nice.

the S shaped 521s  are different from the 510.

 

outlets from heater are slightlly smaller

Different enough to "no, it will not work", or can a 510 short heater hose be used on a 521?

That's what I want to know.

 

I'm replacing a motor real soon and plan on buying new hoses throughout...

No will not work. The 521 has a smaller "S"

See my "How To" on fabricating replacement heater hoses using available standard parts and a good knife and clamps for the 411 series. Basic principles should apply to the 510 series.
