scored a 2 door AC 510 yesterday

Had a buddy digging a pool and knew I loved these cars, sent me a pic, I contacted the owner and we struck up a deal. Running stock engine with a Weber carb, needs brakes bled, factory ac stuff all still there..  Interior needs love and a little rust in the floor boards, easy fix..  I will post more pics on my FB page Gas Axe Chop Shop or same name Instagram page as I progress.. sorry im working on pics to post!!

FYI, there's no such thing as "factory AC" on a Datsun. It was a complete system built by AMCO and installed at the dealership.  ;)

Also, the original AC systems suck ass. Looks kinda, cool though...   ^_^

Welcome and congrats on the two door sedan ( my favorite). I took all the Ac units out of my 510's because it seemed to be so much a drain on the stock motor. Also way way back I had a bracket for the Ac compressor come loose and it somehow cracked the timeming cover. So no Ac so that will not happen again to my 510's. Anyway good luck and get some pics up.

very sorry about pics, I have tried several times to post with no luck. I refuse to set up some image shack shit or anything to do with an image host, sorry. If I cant copy them from my computer it wont happen. I tries several methods to post them but again no luck. I read the "posting pictures" in the forums but seem to want you to use an image host. Ill keep trying
