Jester
Well, my uncle called and said come this damn thing or it's going to scrap! So last weekend I went up after work. Dundee sucks ass after 5! My cousin has beat the shit out of this poor truck. I can remember when Larry, the original owner and friend of my uncle, bought it brand new. Thankfully he built some pretty stout bumpers for it. Too bad someone had to install a body lift. The shitty bumper lifts they used to make it "fit" are either broken and bent. This mound of mud and shit, literally, is massive! There is mud fucking packed into everything. And it is like a rock now. I only wanted it for parts. It has a good 5 speed, a Z22 that runs out and idles. I want the rear springs for my 620. I was planning on grabbing the "Datsun" floor matt, but it's beat to hell. This is how I had to haul it home. Cuz broke the right front axle joint and tore it apart a few years ago. I THINK I have all the parts except one bearing. I can see the inner race, but thats it. I need to get it off the trailer and rolling. What do you guys think, clean it up and fix some shit or part it out. 4 Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
Part it so I can buy the z22 and throttle cable! 1 Quote Link to comment
Crytek89
I gotta be honest man, that 720 is looking in really rough shape :(The interior alone is going to need a ton of work, all that carpet is going to have to be torn out, seats replaced, door panels replaced/re-done. At this point it may be best to look at a part out than actually trying to get it half-decent. 2 Quote Link to comment

Jester
FUCK THAT!! This thing would either take a shit load of money at the car wash or leave two tons of mud in my gravel. Part it so I can buy the z22 and throttle cable! I know you want the hood too. We could work something out. :poke: Who did you say was looking for a Z series 5sp? 3 Quote Link to comment

Farmer was looking right before Blue Lake, not sure if he found one but its worth checking into! 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
I would part it out. You could spend the rest of your life cleaning and repairing that truck and maybe get $2500 for it. Some more pictures please. Curious about the hitch. 1 Quote Link to comment

I've cleaned that much off my 620 before, shit gets everywhere during the rainy season. Wash it in the yard, it will appreciate the fresh sod. 3 Quote Link to comment
720inOlyWa
I had this experience with my 4x4. I traded a Fender Mustang to a lady and got the truck plus $500. I still think that was a fair deal. But when I got it home, I wondered if I had gotten hosed. Especially after I lifted the hood again in broad daylight. I also wondered the same things you are wondering. I found that as I got the packed mud washed off- bit by bit- the scope of the project gets more into focus. In my case, it became ever more evident that it was worth fixing, even after I encountered a pretty serious transmission problem. You dont have to get much crap off before you know whether you are up for it, or done with it. 3 Quote Link to comment
