Hi everyone! This is my first day in the forum and I really love the topics I´ve just read, I will continue reading more and more.

But first I would like to share the reason of why I am here. I am from Chile, the southern country in Sout America and this is my Datsun B310, in this country known as 150Y. I call him Datsuncillo and he is my daily car.

This car was own (from 0km) by my grandfather. Then, when he passed away, my father saved it from the rust and hell... and when it was my turn to go to college, he gave it to me. Then my love for the japanese old school cars starts.

I saved a lot of money for restored it all and bring it back to where it deserves. We gave him a new paint job, new upholstery and a set of 1" spacers... and a few changes of wheels but just for racing purposes haha. At the end I kept the original rims. With the engine I just made some upgrades for reliability: Electronic ignition (adaptable to the original distribuitor), MSD ignition coil and that´s all.

The future plans for Datsuncillo are a new exhaust line, maybe with resonator for deeper sound, 36/36 Weber Carburetor and front/rear strut bar for better dynamics.

Good ideas are always welcome!

Hope you like it and sorry if my english is difficult to understand haha in Chile we speak spanish. Regards!

Yup, my information shows the last 310 made 01 '82 but this may be just for N America. 08 '83 was the start of the Sentra or B11.

Do you have the chassis number? I can look up when it was built .... again if my info shows world wide production.

That thing looks great! I miss my B310 hatch. First car I ever owned, it was a fun piece of crap.

That's an '80--- '81??? Nice job, very clean.

I think that grill is an '80? '81 said "Datsun" instead of 'D' iirc. Or I could be backwards.

In the pics, is that a celica?

No mate, there are some toyotas but no one is a Celica. Here we called them Corona... SportWagon, Sedan & Coupe. Nevertheless there are a few celicas in good conditions in the streets of Chile.

Man, Datsuns make great family heirlooms!  I believe the 150Y, B310, 1200, Sunny came with an A14 here in N America. Is that the same in Chile?

Hi! In Chile we have the 150Y with an A15 and 140Y with an A14.

Now I will post the pictures I promised!
