B210 Radiator

Question on what radiator are you guys & gals are using once your original one is beyond repair.

Took mine to try and get it fixed and was told I need a new one. To recore it is way to much. I'm talking stupid money.

What's your source.?

I had one done a while back,it was $300.

saw a couple on Ebay, not sure what year yours is from 200 - 260 or so.

you tried autozone, rock auto or Oreillys?

                 If you have it recored,you'll have a quality one,that will last for years.

If you buy a cheap one (Made in China,etc.),may only last a few years.

Yeah they wanted more than $300 for a recore on my radiator. I could get one way cheaper than that. I was checking out eBay also but before I drop that kind of money I came here for some input to see what experiences you have delt with in your situation(s).

my latest quotes from performance in the last few years have been in the $500 range. Copper has dropped but recore prices for most places have not.

Thats crazy or find one that will fit but cheaper but may have to get creative w hoses.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. I might have to hit the wrecking yards to see what will work for my ride..

I use stock ones. And if they die I find another one :rofl:

 

Take it to a local radiator shop and have them find you one same size or close.  if its slightly bigger you can make it work, the inlet/outlet port is the key.

 

If you get me the dimensions (actual radiator size, then total size from side to side with brackets, I can ask my local guy.  He has always been able to find me something for a decent price

This is what I had originally used for my 1200 which dimensionally is very similar as far as the radiator is concerned (e.g., B210 rad bolts right in).

 

Morrisun runs this in one of his 1200s also and I believe has pics in a build thread somewhere.

 

The rad fits 1995-1997 NISSAN 200SX and 1992-1999 SENTRA L4 2.0 AUTO A/T. ~50$
