Front brake shoes.

Hello!

 

I just wondering if there is any similiar front brake shoes to 620 from another car like king cab or other trucks who fits the 620 cus i cant find any shoes here nearby in my country.

Helps if you would complete you profile with vehicle and location. Standard cab short or long wheelbase or King Cab are the same brakes on the 620.

There alot of 620 shoes in this country. But we dont know what country you live in

I live in Finland and the 620s here are called 1500 and is the same car i guess. I dont think there are so much spare parts anymore here to this cars cus i think they ae pretty rare here nowadays.

So you are saying they fit from king cabs?

God, wheels just like what mine had on it when I bought it 12 years ago......

 

Why not just order them in from someone like Rock Auto, or eBay ?

I'm not sure if Rock ships international, but if not, maybe you can get a Ratsun member over here to ship them to you.

Well they do here. All '73-'77 had front drum brakes that were the same. 1500 sounds like a J or A series engine... maybe the brakes were not the same in Finland. Are they 10" diameter???.

I sent a guy Zender or something like that was his name from Finland with a 620.

Mabe that guy in England(english Datsun club) can help out He sells parts. Forgot his name also. But has a website.

another brake question..I removed my wheel cylinder and it was all covered in rust but is this part supposed to move?

Finish filling out your profile, including your vehicle and country at least. There were variations in what was supplied to other countries. Some things are much different.

 

 

I don't think that area moves but it would wear away from the brake shoe rubbing it so a hardened piece of steel is inserted there.

NO only one side moves. Make sure the bleed screw comes with the new cylinder soem dont come with them and hard to get

 

when doing truck brakes I just pull the bearing out then install the drums. get the drum on there. then pull back off and adjust the brake adjust much asI can to to get the slop out of the brakes then install drum and bearing. then do the final adajustant with the bent brake adjuster rod or screwdriver end
