Icehouse
So Tim picked up a 69 wagon to drive while we fix his car. Checking the car over I noticed this. They are defiantly come out next time his is up. They look so scary! Quote Link to comment

DISLEXICDIME
Yah those are scarey they tend to brake that's why no one uses them any more Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
Yah those are scarey they tend to brake that's why no one uses them any more So you've seen them? What is the point? To try and change the bump steer? the wagon has the lowest bump steer of all the 510's. Seems dumb to put those in. Quote Link to comment
Doctor510
VERY early camber adjuster, as mentioned, break easily. Quote Link to comment
john510
So thats what that is.I have one of those. It was in a box of 510 parts i bought years ago,i could never figure out what it was. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Isn't that more of a castor angle? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
...and someone at the Realm already got it. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
It would add more/less camber and more bump steer. seems like a dangerous way to try and fix a non problem. A slight bit of camber isn't going to matter on pizza cutter tires. Shnikes I gotta get those out of there! Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
They where for camber 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
But the tilt (rotation) looks like to the rear which would, I think, be more caster. (separate question) When you change caster (more positive) by adjusting the top hat to the rear, are you not bending the LCA like this on that pin it's on? I suppose the rubber gives but the movement is at right angles to the pin. Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
They can't break that easy, looks like they have been on there forever! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
True but looks 'scary'. Can't be good for the rubber bushings. Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
They tend to bend/crack Quote Link to comment
