crafty1
I thought it was weird the left turn sig would stop working. I take my foot off, the turn signal continues to work. I think its a grounding issue, but I'm not sure if anybody had this same issue before? The right turn sig works just like it should while brake is depressed. Quote Link to comment
Cheetahking
Make sure you have the correct bulbs in the correct spot in the taillight. Quote Link to comment
Jester
Daniel C. would be the man you want to talk to. He is the 520/521 wiring guy. Send him a PM Quote Link to comment
DanielC
521 tail lights mount the lamps (bulbs) in plastic. Each tail light has a wiring harness, that plugs into the bed harness of the truck. The ground wires for each lamp are tied together, and connect to the metal tail light frame. The tail light frame is bolted to the bed of the truck, and the bed of the truck is bolted to the frame of the truck. The truck's frame should have a good electrical connection to the engine, and the battery negative side. It is common for the ground connection to the tail light frame to go away. I have had good success curing 521 tail light grounding problems by adding an extra wire from the tail light frame to the frame of the truck. For more information about 521 tail lights, see this thread: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/18092-521-taillight-rebuilding/?hl=%2Btaillight+%2Brebuilding 1 Quote Link to comment
