Eriks
Noticed that the wagon rear flange is different than the sedan. Any ideas where I can find one for my wagon? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Only the Roadster and the 510 goon had them. Quote Link to comment

tr8er
This one is not the same as the sedan? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Sorry, I may have been referring to the differential side. The driveshaft flange is the same for sedan and goon as well as the 521 and the Roadster. Good catch tr8ter Quote Link to comment
Eriks
Ok, sorry for causing confusion, I read somewhere that the wagon and sedan driveshafts had different rear flange, thus my initial question. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Under certain conditions a sedan driveshaft will fit a goon. This would happen if the goon transmission was replaced with an FS5W71B transmission from a truck or car. The differences in length between the 4 and 5 speed is almost the same between driveshaft length. Take note that those flange ends from other Datsuns will also fit the 510. The bolt patterns are the same just not the exact same. Quote Link to comment
Eriks
Im lengthening a sedan driveshaft by 25mm to fit a wagon with dogleg. Therefore makng sure i have a flange that will fit. I could of course use the flange that is on the wagon today but then I will not be able to use the car while the driveshaft is away for lengthening and balancing. That said, there is a flange on the sedan driveshaft that i will use, so problem solved it seems :) Quote Link to comment
