STOCK WHEELS DON'T THROW THEM AWAY

Guys,

I'm making a plea for you all to quit throwing away your stock steel 411 wheels. They are unique to the 410/411 contrary to popular belief. 510 stock steel wheels are not the same. for those of you who have been around 410/411's a long time know that they bend quite easily because of the deep backspace. That is why the gauge is heavy duty. Stock restorations need these wheels. Do it for all of 410/411 humanity.

Thanks!

Not sure which one I have a full set of. Either way the full set will be getting powder coated and a new set of stock size tires. The odd ones out will have one go in the spare tire well.

310 1500 cc sport car wheels are "almost" identical as are the "310" FWD wheels.  The difference is the lack of dog dish clamps on the 310 roadster.  Since the RL411 and 1500cc 310 roadster use full wheel covers, not a big deal.  Not sure about the FWD "310"   If you need PL411 wheels and dog dishes, you need the wheel with dog dish clips.

Neely, I have a complete non dog dish clip set of the 13 inch original type wheels.  Original grey paint.  Picked them up as part of a take all or leave parts scrounge.  Keeping them as a disaster backup for my RL411, but if somone is only lacking a set of original 13 inch proper offset and finish to complete a showroom restoration I would be open to a donation!
