paul97
I am interested in buying a Datsun/Nissan Sunny truck and I thought they were all RHD but I saw a video on You tube today that had a LHD version. I saw a RHD 1986 Nissan Sunny Truck for sale and I was wondering if it was possible to convert one to LHD. If not does anyone know where I could find one in the US for sale? Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
RHDrive JDM vehicles were sold in Okinawa until reversion from US Occupation forces to the Japanese Government. It is possible that a Sunny truck was "repatriated" stateside during that time period. Not aware of any Sunny registry, so good luck in your search. JDM Vehicle models sold in Korea also were LHD [after the overthrow of Syghman Rhee who would not let anything Japanese into Korea, even the time which he offset by 30 minutes]. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
FYI, the Sunny truck was sold in almost every market in the world except North America. There were thousands and thousands of them built and sold south of the US border, all over Central and South America. ;) Quote Link to comment

I used RHD Sunny truck parts to convert my LHD Coupe over to RHD. Best bet would be finding a 1200 owner who wants to swap parts with you, or try to find a USDM 1200 for a donor. Dguy210
Look in Taiwan, all LHD. I've seen several and posted in sightings before with pics. Quote Link to comment
paul97
Thanks for all of the info. I was going to look at a RHD one today but things ran late and I didn't have time. Quote Link to comment
