I got my first 620 from Chris way back in the day for $180 running and driving. This is when i only had 521's. Chris would like to get back into datsuns. He was our guinea pig when we wanted to try something new or had an experiment when we were kids. I've known him for a long time. I keep telling him about canby over the years. So this year hes been talking about starting his own wood fired pizza business and suggested bringing the oven to cook for just our "camp party". So i told him if he brought his oven id pay for all the ingredients, anything he wanted. Then we decided to give out pizzas to everyone. We just weren't sure about the "open flame" rule at the fair grounds so we parked(hid) it in the back out of site. Turns out he was invited to come back. Bbqing in that oven Saturday night was awesome. Hmmm ribs and peppers

I was blown away when I saw that oven and realized I was pretty hungry when offered a pizza :D

Shout out to Jessie!!!

Ferry crossing was rough and a Harley tipped over and stove in my driver's front fender. When she heard about this, she brought me her spare on Sunday. Bless you Jessie!

On the trip down this year I didn't have the crazy Asian lady screaming at me while I slept in her driveway. Rained good though. Canby was a hell of a success this year. Saturday after getting up I never sat down until I ate breakfast at 2:24. Just nuts meeting and greeting and parts dumpster diving non stop for almost 7 hrs. Hobo was high as fuck though. Steve... the parts were delivered to Pasco by 8. Nanner the 'Matchbox' was a real fuck you to gato, love the thought that went into this. Called Draynor.. Draker .... (close enough) There was even a Figbuck sighting. Also Bleach, SEEKER, MKlotz, ]2eDeYe, Atom, Izzo, wayno, James, fuckin' Ted, and our founding father Jeff ... you others not mentioned... I told you I would forget. To the camping neighbors with the peach cobbler, thank-you again.

You're very welcome!!!!

Home. 2,500 mile Canby trip.

Gas mileage was even better than last year. One 1/2 tank I got 39.99 (miles to the Imp. gallon that's 33.29 US) in the Rockies between Golden and Revelstoke. Lowest was 32.7.  This is with the 112 primary jet too and the 4.11 diff. Last year was with a 99 jet so??? go figure. Had more power also.

750 miles yesterday and this morning capped it off with a sprint from Lillooet to Pemberton on 99. My all time favorite road.
