Second time around

Hello, I'm a new member but long time lurker. I own a 85 720ST. Picked it up from the original owner. This is my second 720, I bought my first one new in 1982.I'm doing all of the things I could not afford to do back then. So far I've added bell tech dropped spindles,4"blocks out back,Z71 16"wheels & I took an old baffled exhaust from my Harley and put it behind the back wheel. I've removed the back bumper and had a roll pan welded on. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. It's late and this old man needs his sleep.

Hey Ratsunites,

I've got a question, I've read the threads about changing out leaf springs for 4x4 springs to get a lower drop, my question is are there any other nissan 4x4 springs that will do the same thing? Could I use hard body springs, are early hard body frames the same as 720's? I can't seem to locate any 720 4x4's in the wrecking yards in my area.Any help would be great.

Thanks

In regards to the 4x4 springs.. I have them under my girl, which I swapped to from my stock leaves that had the overload springs removed and a 3 inch block. I actually went to the 4x4's for more height (compared to blocks)!!

Rides a bit nicer too, IMO. Threw some poly bushings in too and they are great.

Nice Truck!!  I'm really digging the color.  I've got an 85 KC I am working on too.  I've got a couple questions for you:

What exhaust tip is that?

What % tint do you have on the truck?

If you don't mind telling us, what did the paint run you?
