Probably should update this thread.

I was asked if this one was for sale by a nice guy that collects 411 wagons. I figured he would be able to give this thing the attention it deserves. He came and picked it up and took her home.

Was good to hang out with this one for a while.

On to the next Datsun project. 🙂

Steve you passed the 411 on?

I did, too many cars here and the right guy asked.

What's the little block in the middle of the dash behind the ashtray?

There was all sorts of quirky stuff going on with the dash lol.

Seat belts were in all '66 and on vehicles in the US

Not required in all new vehicles until '68. Seen more than a few '67s without them...

I only know because I had a long argument with a cop about them when I was driving a '66 Nova with no seat belts. Texas state law says you have to wear one, but says nothing about what to do if a vehicle did not come with them new...

Don’t know, it’s a mount for something. Not related to an original clock. I left it otherwise two holes would be left.

Nothing like that on the dash in my 67 (it is a Sedan but don't think that would make a difference).

I was kidding. EGR wasn't used much before '73. Seat belts were in all '66 and on vehicles in the US but warning chimes????

Import cars and trucks were required to have seat belts in USA for 1968 models not 1967 models due to production and delivery lag. So any so called 1968 vehicles were really 1967 models despite dealer claims if they dont have shoulder belts.
