dpm
Someone here hopefully will know where the flasher for the turn signal is located on a 1978 200sx. The front passenger side turn signal won't work, but the 4 ways work. I assume I need a new flasher. Thanks Quote Link to comment
LenRobertson
The '78 200SX Factory Service Manual says the turn signal flasher is located "..on the instrument frame behind the radio receiver." Disconnect battery ground, remove ash tray ,remove ash tray cover retaining screws and take out ash tray cover. Turn signal flasher is the larger of the two (hazard flasher is the smaller) and is held in a spring clip. Have fun! Len Quote Link to comment

Thanks Dude, from what you have stated, the front right (passenger side) turn signal does not work, so it must be assumed that the other three corners ARE working. If the other corners are working then the flasher has to be working!!!!!!!!!!!! If the four way flashers all work on all four corners, then the bulb is OK. Check the rear passenger side turn signal is has to be out also. Quote Link to comment
