Oil Pan Gasket Misfit

I have a U67 block of unknown origin and when I guessed the year and vehicle for ordering the Sealed Pro gasket set, I ended up with the wrong oil pan gasket. Can anyone help me figure out witch U67 block I have so I can order the correct oil pan gasket?

Note the narrowness of the two center front pan screws..

U67 is a head. Should say L16 L18 or l20 on it above spark plug #4 on the block not the head. That will help determine what year and model it came out of

Oil pan should always match vehicle...all the gaskets should still be the same between the L4s. 

 

On block, below spark plug #4 is engine code. I'm guessing you have an L20B. 

Run yourself down to AutoZone and get the right gasket.

Wrong gasket.  You can get individual gaskets at Nissan.  I believe all L-16, L-18 and L-20-B engines use the same oil pan gasket.

Looks like a CA20 OP Gasket

It's an L20B, its odd that the U67 # is on the block. As far as I know the pan is correct with the block.

I'm at Napa to see what they show in images of there pan gaskets.

NAPA shows a gasket that looks right, I'm going with the idea that I ended up with a CA20 pan gasket or something like that.

Any idea what pan this is, car, truck etc?

Are you sure it doesn't say U67 on the cylinder head; near the #1 spark plug.

78 L20B would have eliminated the chances of getting the wrong gasket, remember he/she is a parts person not a mechanic.

Or go on Autozone website and cross reference gasket to see if it fits L16 - L20 ,which I think it would but just make sure.

'78 and up blocks might say W58.

 

L16/18/L20B/Z20 and Z22 all take the same oil pan gasket. They just gave you the wrong one is all.
