Cardinal Grammeter
Trying to make decision - I have a blue seat in a black interior and have to do something... Has anyone found a good fitting seat cover for the bench seat w/o notch? (popular topic) I'm guessing a basic reup would be $300-500... Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
You could dye it black...Sems works good. A new seat recover would entail all new guts as well as a new cover....and yeah, $300 or more is right. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Go buckets. There are BILLIONS to choose from in wrecking yards. Gray or black goes with any color. Quote Link to comment
red13
If u go,custom pt crusier seats are a dime a dozen and are nice. Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
My seat is blue with a weird knitted center. The knitting is disintegrating and I'm starting to tear the foam pad under mine. Buckets are nice, but even at 63, I still lament for the days a girl sat next to you on your bench seat. I knew a guy who bot a new 69 Hemi Roadrunner with a bench seat just for that purpose. He offered the car to me in the mid 70's for $900. ...I'm going to kill myself.... Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Your wife knows how to keep your interior decade specific. Having a wife that sows might almost be worth getting a wife! LOL 1 Quote Link to comment

hobospyder
Damn Eccles that's almost a bad amount of time but honestly if it never comes up it doesn't matter right? I have to teach my current girl some sewing tricks sadly Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
I'm thinking that welding is not totally unlike sewing (!) And whatever this weird seat cover is on mine, it does NOT fit properly - it is too small in total width. If I had the time, I'd learn the craft which would be worth while considering how expensive it is to get upholstery done. Quote Link to comment
