Lee261188
Hello all I have the above car and have been searching and emailing to no prevail looking for a upgrade kit on the front disc brakes. Gaz shocks have done a adjustable coilover on the front so I don't want to change the struts ext. Has anyone got any advice or another kit that will work? Many thanks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Put the coil overs on a set of 280zx struts and be damned with it. The 280zx struts are over an inch shorter, have monster calipers and larger diameter vented rotors. You do need 14"rims though. The 710 calipers are just about the same size as the original 510's. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lee261188
Thanks for the reply, am I right in thinking I would only need this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322063312155 Is the spindle size the same so will it fit the bearings and housing? Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
That's the same as a 710? Here's some info you may not have come across. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAUFP46xkHEy5kJAwJ_L1Ni538qkL256I http://community.ratsun.net/topic/16392-it-really-is-an-infectiondatsunitis/page-64?do=findComment&comment=992815 Quote Link to comment

For stripped strut tube? No way. The hub, caliper, rotor, bearings and the strut damper are all missing. Se Mklotz's post above this one Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
plus one of those spindles is bad. He's got grease smeared over the outer bearing area, but you can see that it's rusted and even looks ground down a bit. Quote Link to comment
