Recommended Posts

I want to remove the rear bumper from my 84 720 but I don't have that piece that covers the gap left after you remove the bumper. Sorry, Im new. First time small truck owner and I cant stop driving it...lol Just lowered it, cranked torsion bars up front and 2 inch block in the rear. She runs like a champ just trying to give her a sexier look til I get some real money saved up and throw something bigger to replace the z20 in it. Im new at this so Ive basically been googling the hellz out of Nissan 720 since I got it. Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Ratsun

I think the word is valance. Obviously there are none so you will need to make something to 'fill the gap' yourself.

Z20? Then you have a mileage option 720. Only came with 5 speed, 240mm flywheel and clutch, 3.364 ratio differential and 9 to one compression. Has an ignition retard and knock sensor.  Built to get the most economy, it's probably pretty slow accelerating but when you're at the bottom every direction is up.

Biggest bang for the buck is better gears. 3.90, 4.11 or 4.375. Up to $100

For engine a Z24 or maybe a KA24DE. Both have increased displacement and will bolt to your transmission. Z24 is carb and will be more compatible, while the KA is EFI and starts and runs better with more power.

I believe what you may be talking about is a roll pan...I'm not sure of your location, but if you're in SoCal...you can give my friend Gene Winfield a call, he's in Mojave. He has metal brakes and can make you a filler panel (roll pan) and install it too! He'll make it look like it came from the factory that way!
