Torsion bars?

Im need of some torsion bars for my 1980 720 idk where to buy them i cant find them anywhere and also does any other truck torsion bars work with my 720? Hardbody maybe?

All 2wd torsion bars are the same. Get them at the wrecking yard.

 

 

 

Without a picture of the damage, I'll have to guess this is what was bent....  http://community.ratsun.net/topic/35564-torsion-bar-compatability-i-searched/. Remove them, hammer back into shape and replace them back in the truck.

Well the bracket got messed up and long story short i cut the bars off soo stupid of me i just didnt know how to get them off and i was in a hurry so now i need torsion bars

10 years ago, someone made aftermarket torsion bars, but I don't remember who they were.

Don't know if they were stiffer for off-road, or softer for lowering.

Anybody seen these?

4x4parts.com still sells aftermarket torsion bars for 720s. They are stiffer.

 Back in the 80s, Rancho Offroad used to make them for 720s. I don't know if they're still available, or when they no longer became available.

Here is some for a D21. Not certain if they interchange.

I guess 4x4parts doesn't have them anymore. They used to sell them. 720 bars won't interchange with d21. They are different lengths.

2 and 4wd 720 bars are not interchangeable.
