DanielC Posted April 26, 2016 Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Not even I know what the stock thread is on a 521 shift lever, and I know just about every other thread on a 521, from 4-40, fuse box cover screw, to 7/16-20 lug nuts, rear bumper brackets to frame. The engine, transmission, and rear differential carrier use metric bolts. the drive line uses SAE fasteners. A stock 521 four speed shift knob has a rubber insert, so when it is "tight" all the way, you can still turn it to make the shift pattern on the knob point the right direction. Quote Link to comment
