Just picked this up on Ebay...

I took the dash apart and gave it a nice cleaning and saw that the dash wiring harness is in great shape and uncut. I also cleaned the circuit board and replaced all the lights on it.
Also, I picked up a nice stock chrome driver side mirror at the pick-a-part today.

Installed my clock, it looks great in there! I found a '80 Datsun KC in the junkyard with a good L20B and a 5 speed which I will swap in later. In the meantime I wired in the EI Distributor and eighty-sixed the dual point set-up: What a difference! I also had my radiator redone. I purchased an electric fuel pump. I also scored a factory fuel block off plate off of Ebay. And finally, I squared things with the DMV, it was out of the system so it only cost me: $89.00...not too bad!

I got my gas tank back from the radiator shop: All nice and clean now!
It was just too dirty and needed to be cleaned. Now I'm not clogging the filter up anymore!

Put the new Weber on and it runs great! The next thing on the to do list is to lighten the flywheel and put my Centerforce clutch in, the stock clutch is slipping.

Got my flywheel lightened, just waiting on my clutch. In the meantime...I pulled my engine to have my brother do some steam cleaning and do a little detail work. I pulled the head and am putting a closed chamber W53 back on it, I'm having it ported. Also, got my Cannon intake and header. Should have it back together in a couple months...

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

Cool! I have June, 1974 610 sedan and hardtop paperback parts catalog, Pub. No. C-0100U. Also 1975 610 microfiche aperture cards. To bad I don't have a microfiche viewer! Makes it easy to search by part number.

Thanks! I also have the 1980 final edition parts book for the 620. It covers the entire production run and lists every part that went on the 620s, with illustrations too. My oldest and most cherished parts book is my 1954-1965 Cadillac parts catalog. It covers all of the models from those years. I bought it when I had my '64 Coupe de Ville.

I think the first year 610 was called an 1800. Should have those emblems.

No dual carbs, 38 Weber. I had the exedy from rock auto and I am so used to pedal feel on the centerforce in my truck...I decided to put one in the wagon. I've had the one in the truck for almost 15 years and it's still going strong with no problems: I hope for the same in the wagon.

what kind of muffler you putting on? a Turbo type.

I like the 38s except when starting on a hill.

I had a flywheel cut down to 10 also but Im scared to run it. Might explode.
